Become A Professional Wrestler or A Blogger; Choice Is Yours

2554965968_5f5f361d3cIt’s your choice.  You can either become a professional wrestler or a blogger – both of these are very similar yet a lot different from each other. In blogging, you sit in your comfortable seat in your home sipping coffee while you work.

You don’t have to answer to anyone for anything. You work as much as you want and whenever you want. You are the controller and Boss of everything.

While in professional wrestling you have to travel around the world and you get beat up by toughest men in the world in chaotic situations with deadly weapons. You have to do what you are told to do and you always have a boss that you have to answer to.

However, there are a lot of things that are similar in both these professions and that is why I am writing this article and hopefully you’ll learn a lot from this post.

1. You Have To Outshine The Best:

Pro Wrestling:

There are countless professional wrestlers in this world and thousands and thousands of the awesome ones. It is not easy to make a name for yourself in such environment.

And, you have to work days and nights with passion and desire to achieve the things you want. In short, simple and honest words, you have to become better than the best.

You are handed nothing and you have to take every opportunity, make the most of it and earn every single thing that you have or you want to achieve.

Blogging:

Same thing applies in blogging. Almost everyone single person with access to the internet and awareness is now starting a blog and stepping into this tough business. That makes blogging extremely crowded and competition reaches its heights.

Hence, in order to be able to make money from your blog, you have to work the best you can. You might not be able to beat the best very quickly but trying to do so for a long time is what will take you to the point in this business that you can be proud of.

2. Success Is Not Guaranteed:

Pro Wrestling:

Just because you can bench press 500 lbs or lift 400 lbs guy on your shoulder doesn’t mean you’re going to be a successful professional wrestler. There is nothing in the world you can do that can guarantee you success. You can just hope. Giving everything and just hoping is what anyone can do.

Blogging:

Blogging is no different. No one can guarantee you success and if someone does then be alert because he is only trying to steal from you. You can write 30 posts per month and there is no guarantee.

You can even write 300 posts per month and it is still a risky business where you never know what is going to happen next. All that is in your control is the ability to work hard and tell as many people as you can about your blog.

3. You Can’t Succeed Without The Help Of People:

Pro Wrestling:

Success is never possible without the help of people in professional wrestling. In professional wrestling, it is all about the people. The more people cheer for any given Superstar the more opportunities that superstar is awarded and more money they make.

There are countless examples where young and talented people couldn’t make it just because people didn’t care about them. Mark Henry is a big example of it. He has been in the world's largest wrestling company for nearly one and a half decade but his career is still not something that we can call success.

On the other hand, it has been only three years since Daniel Bryan came into WWE and he is the most popular and most talked about Superstar all around the world right now. In short, people and their opinion matters.

Blogging:

In blogging, if no one is likes what you do, you’re career is done. You can’t make it to the top without the help and support of people. You have to make them trust and follow you in order to achieve anything you want.

4. Spending Money Brings Success Nearer:

Pro Wrestling:

Just wrestling and wrestling with the hopes of being picked by some big company some day is not going to get you anywhere. You have to make people talk about you and to make that happen, you need to spend money. Spend money in creating your videos and then promote those clips.

The more you promote yourself, the quickly and more easily you'll succeed.

Blogging:

In blogging, it is never necessary to spend any money, but this is an admitted truth that if you spend some money, you succeed way quickly than those who are saving.

It is a business where you have to reach as many people as you possibly can to not only make more money, but also have your words read and trusted by more people. You can spend money by advertising, hiring writers or SEO consultants and more.

5. You Can Never Master Everything:

Pro Wrestling:

The Undertaker, the most respected and admired professional wrestler in the history of WWE. If you ask him, he'll say that there is more he wants to learn than he already knows because there is so much depth in pro wrestling.

One can never master everything and has to become expert of just one or two. It doesn't matter how hard The Undertaker may try he can never be a high flyer like Rey Mysterio. Just like Rey can never be as powerful and intimidating as The Undertaker. They both have mastered different things and they are best at doing just that.

Blogging:

You can never be the world's best blogger, designer and programmer at the same time. However, if you choose just one of these things then it can be possible with your hard work.

Similarly, if you start a blog with 100 niches then there are thousands of times less chances of your success as compared to choosing 1 or 2 niches. In short, simple and sweet words, you can't be everything. Hence, just try to be something and become the best in it.

6. You Have To Be Unique:

Pro Wrestling:

There has never been a time where there were two popular pro wrestlers with exact same characters. Everyone who became successful had his own personality and identity to shine.

The Rock was the most electrifying man in the sports while Stone Cold was the bear drinking rude dude who was against authority. Mick Foley was the hardcore legend Shawn Michaels was the unpredictable Heart Break Kid. They became popular because they were different and unique.

Blogging:

As I said in the start, blogging is an extremely competitive and crowded business. There are millions of sites out there that are willing to become better every single day.

Do you think you stand a chance against them if you do everything like them? If you follow what they follow? If you believe what they believe? Of course not. There is no way to succeed by being like someone else. Just be yourself and try to be different and unique to stand out and get everyone's attention.

7. Championship/Blog Doesn’t Make You, You Make It:

Pro Wrestling:

It is strongly believed in professional wrestling that a title never makes the guy, but guy makes the title. People who are at top are not at that place because they are champions, they are champions because they are at that place.

Blogging:

If you buy Google, do you think that you'll have the same respect and popularity all over the world as the person who started it and made it a worldwide phenomenon? There is no way.

This is because a site or blog is not supposed to make you popular. It becomes popular because you are making it.

This last point might seem a little complicated to some, but it is not. Just read it with open mind.

The purpose of writing this article was dual. I wanted to entertain you, but teach you some real things at the same time and I am hopeful that I have done my job the way I should have done. Now, what do you think about all these points? You know that What do you think you can do better? Professional wrestling or blogging? I am anxious to know.
