Samsung had big plans for its yesteryear flagships - Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 when it announced that both phones will be skipping Android 4.2.2 update and will be directly updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The big plan seemed to go well for the South Korean electronics giant as it released the Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S3 right on time, but only to be halted later because of performance issues. Samsung Galaxy S3 started receiving the Android 4.3 update during the first week of November in parts of Europe, but eventually during the middle of the month, Samsung pulled out the update citing performance issue reasons. Some of the issues that were faced by users included - Wake up lag, Random Freezing, Huge battery drain, Bluetooth Audio issues during playback in car, Stuttering music playback with stock Samsung music app, Device freezes as soon a call is received (Black screen issue), Poor RAM management, Wi-Fi issues and more. Oppo N1 Camera Samples

The Oppo N1 is all set to be globally available starting December 10th, which is just 5 days away but as you might have known by now, we have been playing around with the device for some time now. One of the highlights of this phone is its camera, which is a 13 MP unit sitting on a swiveling unit. The Sony EXMOR RS 13 MP sensor is a 1/3.06" unit, atop which sits the six-element lens, one of the firsts on any Android device. Epson brings mobile printing support for new Amazon Kindle Fire Tablets

Epson has announced that their printers now support mobile printing on the new Amazon's new Kindle Fire tablets running on the latest Fire OS version 3.1. Videocon Telecom has introduced a new tariff voucher that reduces outgoing roaming call rates by 50 percent. This pack lets customers make local calls at 50 paise per minute and STD calls at 75 paise per minute while roaming across India. Videocon was the first operator in India to make incoming calls free while on roaming on their own network, without any processing fee or a special tariff voucher. The company launched 3 free National Incoming Roaming packs recently with free incoming calling minutes while roaming on other networks. When Google introduced Google Now as their primary search option on Android smartphones, we knew they were headed for something big. Google Now has been trying to take over your Android smartphone as it tries to provide you all the "relevant" information that you may want. The latest power that Google Search has got is the ability to search through applications and show them in the results. The latest update(which should be rolling out gradually) makes it easy for the users to search for something inside their application directly from Google Search. Airtel to launch 4G LTE on Smartphones in Bangalore this December

Airtel launched 4G LTE services in Pune last October, and rolled out the 4G TD-LTE  service in Kolkata,  Bengaluru and Punjab, but it doesn't support voice or SMS currently. Earlier this year Airtel had announced that they would offer voice services for 4G customers in Pune. The company recently shared on Twitter that they plan to introduce 4G services for customers with 4G-enabled smartphones. Huawei launched the Ascend P1 LTE as India's LTE smartphone, in partnership with Airtel at the Innovation Qualcomm India 2012 last year, but the smartphone has not been released yet. There are chances for Huawei to launch the device later this month in Bangalore. There are also reports that Reliance Jio and Airtel are testing low cost 4G smartphones manufactured by ZTE.
